Rather gourmet higher end Mexican food . Each component of my dish was well made and kinda fancy. Even my corn dish was memorable. Steak cooked perfect medium rare. Paloma mixed drink was perfect. Ambience was excellent for a high end Mexican restaurant. Reminds me of high end places in Mexico minus the live music in the background.

This place is incredible! We came here when we were visiting Monterey. It seems it is better to make a reservation here. Despite not having a reservation they accepted us as a walk in. The service is attentive and the food is very tasty! I recommend starting out with Chips and Guacamole. For my main dish I ordered the Pollo Asado. I also need to mention for any soda lovers out there the Mexican Cokes served in bottles taste better than the usual Coke.

Trendy interior and felt like a high end luxury resort in Mexico. Would come back and try their drinks Food 4 out of 5 stars Tuna crudo: 5/5 this was my favorite dish, especially when you eat it by taking a tortilla chip, dipping it in a salsa, and putting a spoonful of crudo on top. Luxury poke nachos Esquites: 4/5. Small knock against the thick layer of cotija cheese on top. I actually love cheese but it seems like the ratio of corn to cheese was a little too high since there were times where I accidentally put a spoonful of straight cheese in my mouth Duck mole: 4/5 stars. A sleeper hit, my second favorite dish, and I did not expect the complex chocolate-y sauce to pair so well with duck and rice. There's a nice spice to the sauce as well. Bone marrow and Birria tacos. 3.5/5 stars I was disappointed in this. The meat was a bit tough and the blue tortillas were not my favorite. I know it's handmade but the tortilla was a bit crumbly, like it was difficult to fold in hand and when it did fold it started to crack.

First, nothing stood out to me... but I ordered, and everything we got was really stand out wonderful! We ordered : doña Teresa , camarones, mole trio and their mirror margarita!! We left so satisfied and happy! It's not often we find food /drinks inspiring like we did tonight! We'll be back The modern feel was clean comfortable and inviting! Our waiter made suggestions that encouraged me to try something new - I'm glad I did!!

Ambiance- Love the interior of this restaurant, very modern, almost tulum vibes, open kitchen, great date spot! Service- exceptional, our server was super attentive, went over the entire menu with us and even helped us to narrow down our options Food- you must get the camarones al mojo de ajo, the shrimp was cooked to perfection. The cherry tomatoes paired with the dish really well and the white rice definitely tasted brothy You must get the churros! Best I've ever had - it came out fluffy, warm, and slightly crisp. Perfect way to end the night

We were greeted by the host and seated right away since we had a reservation. I would recommend you reserve due to the popularity of this place. The restaurant is decorated with wood, plaster and candles on every wall so it is a very chill atmosphere. Our food arrived promptly. The taquitos were crispy and delicious. It is served with sour cream, Cole slaw and a green salsa. The green salsa really mixes well with all ingredients and you get an explosion of flavor in every bite. It's a sweet yet spicy mix that works well. It's not super spicy and I feel almost anybody can eat it. The shrimp ceviche was absolutely delicious ! It had a hint of lemon and the pico de gallo really compliments the flavor of the lemon. I recommend eating the ceviche with the complimentary sauces provided as it boosts the flavor with a little kick. The steak frites arrived and it was perfectly cooked to my order. Perfect medium rare. I was happy with the consistency of the meat and texture throughout the portion. The meat was delicious and I could eat it by itself however, the flavor of the garlic sauce and chimichuri help boost the steak. My least favorite thing was the Paloma. The drink was not mixed well and I tasted no other flavor other than the alcohol. You expect the alcohol but it shouldn't overpower the flavor of the soda and lemon. I was happy with the overall experience and food at this restaurant. The service was phenomenal and the food was delicious. I was only visiting the city but I am definitely coming back to visit just to eat at this place

Alejandro's for dinner was one of the best parts of my Monterey trip with my boyfriend. We were celebrating his birthday, and we had such a pleasant experience from start to finish. The ambience of the whole restaurant and the level of customer service to the presentation of the food and how well seasoned each of the dishes were, we were in heaven! The restroom also looked really nice and was kept very clean. It was a nice touch to have a full body mirror outside of the women's restroom. Each menu item we had did not disappoint at all! For drinks, I started off with a glass of Rosé and my boyfriend had a tequila mule. Appetizer * Chips + guac 5/5 -- looks like they fry in house tortilla chips and the bowl of guac was delicious! I wish we had more chips to finish the guac. It also comes with 4 different salsas, ranging from mild to spicy. My favorite was the mango salsa! Entrees * Salmón 5/5 - plated over cauliflower mashed potatoes with bits of corn, a Mexican arugula salad w/ spicy chili oil drizzle. The mashed potatoes with the salmon paired so well. The dish was so comforting and the arugula salad added some punch to the dish. * Pollo Asado 5/5 - plated with chipotle mashed potatoes and an arugula salad. It was the best chicken dish! Loved the seasoning and it was cooked perfect! Dessert * Mexican Hot Chocolate + Churros & Choco Sauce 5/5 - I think they make the marshmallow in house! It was a huge pillowy marshmallow with a chocolate hard drizzle surrounding the glass rim, and the Mexican hot chocolate comes in a tea kettle. We gave the option to pour over the hot chocolate ourselves or we can have the server do it, which he did for us and it was such a cool presentation! The hot chocolate was perfect to have with the churros + chocolate sauce. The churros and choco sauce was a small dessert enough for us to eat since we were pretty full towards the end of the night. Crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, the coating of cinnamon and sugar will be a bit dry without the sauce. So I dipped it into the sauce every bite. To be out in a fine dining restaurant was well worth the price, and our experience here was phenomenal!
